Swallow
Latin name: Hirundo rustica
A migrant bird with blue upper body and wings and white below, with a red coloured throat.
You can find Swallows at most of the local lakes and ponds, especially at the country parks and nature reserves across the West Pennine Moors area especially in late summer.
