Flesh Fly
Latin name: Sarcophaga carnaria
The Common Flesh Fly is a common and widespread fly, that can be seen all year round in many habitats. Adults are greyish, with chequered abdomens, red eyes and large feet. The flies are attracted to carrion and carcasses, where they breed and which the females gives birth to live young.
