Comma
Latin name: Polygonia c-album
The Comma butterfly gets its name from the white marking on its underside, which looks like a comma. The ragged wing margins of this orange and brown butterfly make it easily identifiable. Can be seen flying from March to September. They can be seen in many areas but are most likely to be seen in open woodland.
