Latin name: Branta canadensis

The usual brown, white and black geese that can be seen on lakes and ponds. Canada Geese are usually pretty used to humans and will hang around unless approached quickly, even then they may stand their ground and hiss. A mating pair of Canada Geese are shown here with their little yellow goslings.
