Barn Owl

Barn Owls in the West Pennine Moors area are always a treat to see. They can be seen in the evening, quite a while before dark ‘quartering’ over fields and along hedgerows. Barn Owls nest in holes in trees but more often here they will be found in old barns or empty farm buildings.
