Amethyst Deceiver

Latin name: Laccaria amethystina

A distinctive lilac to purple mushroom. The Amethyst Deceiver is found in woodland, often with Beech from late summer to early winter. This mushroom has the ability to transform it’s colour to pale buff, which makes it hard to distinguish from the Deceiver. Edible according to Phillips
