Yarnsdale Delf by munki-boy

Yarnsdale Delf

A huge quarry face around the Cadshaw Brook at Yarnsdale just beside the footpath with overgrown industrial remains further back, including an interesting (but not much left) base of an old quarry crane.

Stone quarried here was sent right round the south bank of the reservoir on a tramway - the wide flat walkway we have today.
