Woodland Trust Kirkless Wood
The Southern part of Kirkless Wood, a mixed-woodland area created in the late 1990s and managed by Woodland Trust.
Paths through this area are across mown grass and can be very muddy at times, otherwise it’s a very pleasant walk along open paths surrounded by woodland that gently slopes southwards toward the canal.
