Visiting Lever Castle

Visiting Lever Castle requires only a short walk on fairly even ground from the car park on Rivington Lane near to the school. This is a great short walk for almost anyone to enjoy and can be further enhanced by a walk along the shore of the Lower Rivington reservoir. The path through the woods from the bottom of the car park is favoured but can be muddy in places and the broad tree lined avenue adjacent to the car park can be more convenient.
