Turton Moor by munki-boy
Turton Moor
A patch of post-industrial, peat moorland to the north of Bolton and confusingly, some distance from the area of Bolton we call Turton today.
It’s a great area to explore with plenty of industrial archaeology, wide open moorland with an abundance of wildlife and some prehistoric remains.
