Waterfalls and Panniers Pool at Three Shires Head by munki-boy
Three Shires Head
Three Shires Head is in The Peak District National Park in England.
Three Shires Head marks a point on an old pack horse route where the counties Derbyshire, Staffordshire and Cheshire meet at a confluence of rivers.
Now a popular hiking area, the small waterfalls and “Pannier’s Pool” make an interesting waypoint or good stopping point for a picnic and a paddle.
