Thornton Hough is a Merseyside village on The Wirral peninsula, between the River Mersey and the River Dee. The area is rural, with dairy farms and fields. There are a number of interesting features in the village, including a 12th century church, St John the Baptist, which has a Norman tower, and a working windmill. The village also has a number of pubs and restaurants.
Thornton Hough is an ideal place to live if you want to be close to the city of Liverpool but still have access to the countryside.
