The Malvern Hills by munki-boy
The Malvern Hills
The Malvern Hills are a prominent range of hills dominating the much flatter landscape to the East and giving excellent views towards the higher ground of the Welsh border.
Plenty of walking areas and great views over patchwork landscapes of fields and trees. The length of the Malvern Hills is marked by the ancient Shire Ditch and there is also evidence of ancient occupation in the form of tumuli and the close proximity of large hillforts nearby.
The Malvern Hills is in Malvern Hills AONB, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
