Spring Wood by munki-boy
Spring Wood - Whalley
Spring Wood is a nice little woodland area on the Western slope of Clerk Hill beside Whalley in Lancashire.
A selection of relatively short woodland paths on relatively steep ground with a little viewpoint bench and a small waterfall over what was probably an old quarry on the way round. Good wildlife and a ton of mushrooms and fungi to find.
There is a small car park available at the bottom.
