Sharnbrook Summit
Sharnbrook Summit, near Wymington in Bedford is a grassland nature reserve that is managed by the Wildlife Trust for Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire.
The nature reserve is home to a variety of grassland plants and flowers, including Lady’s Bedstraw, Common Knapweed and Greater Stitchwort. A variety of butterflies can also be found on the site, such as the Orange-tip, Common Blue and Small Tortoiseshell.
The meadow at Wymington is a haven for wildlife and is home to a number of rare plants and animals. The meadow is managed by the Wildlife Trust and is open to the public from April to Septembre.
The meadow is a great place to see a variety of butterflies, including the Orange-tip, Common Blue and Small Tortoiseshell. A number of rare plants can also be found on the site, such as Orchids.
