RSPB Gwenffrwd-Dinas Nature Reserve

A large, 600 hectare, RSPB reserve set in an oak and alder woodland along the River Towy (Afon Tywi) with grass and moorland above.

The Gwenffrwd-Dinas Nature Reserve supports a wide variety of birdlife including the Brecon favourite Red Kites, but the reserve is also noted for it’s lichens and bryophytes.

According to the RSPB you can find Pied flycatcher, Redstart, Tree Pipit, Willow Warbler, Goosander, Yellowhammer and Marsh tit at the Gwenffrwd-Dinas Nature Reserve.
