River Irwell at Ladyshore

A stretch of the Irwell with an old weir associated with the industrial site at Ladyshore together with some other remains of the mill leat and bleach works water supply.

The Irwell has recovered a lot since the bad-old-days, but there’s still a fair bit of industrial trash stirred up by the recent floods.
