Lyme Regis is a popular tourist destination, with many visitors coming to see the fossils and the Cobb. The town has a number of shops, cafes and restaurants, as well as a number of hotels and bed and breakfast establishments. There is also a museum dedicated to the town’s history and its fossils.
Lyme Regis is in East Devon AONB, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
