Haslingden Grane Valley by munki-boy
Haslingden Grane
The old Graine Valley above Haslingden was once a small village and farming community, now the valley sides are studded with farm ruins and the old mills in the valley bottom are beneath the waters of three reservoirs constructed in the 19th Century.
The views are amazing year-round and there’s plenty of ruins to explore or gentle walks around Calf Hey. There is a tourist information and popular cafe at Clough Head just off the main road.
