Dean Clough Reservoir
A small reservoir with views out to Wiswell Moor and over the Jeppe Knave Grave and the Nick o’ Pendle.
Created in 1869 to supply demand by the mills of nearby Great Harwood. The valley and the Dean Brook was dammed the valley in two stages, the former dam can still be seem as an embankment separating the two parts of the reservoir.
A fine display of Yellow Flag Iris is found on the Southern shore in mid-summer.
