Bonsor Dressing Floors
Bonsor Dressing Floors is in The Lake District National Park in England.
Where copper ore from the Coniston coppermines was broken down to smaller fragments for smelting into copper. There are many remains of the old workings and some historic items preserved including old mine carts.
Highly visible when making ones way up the Coppermines Valley for there are enormous spoil heaps before the Bonsor Dressing Floors that have been swept down the valley to clear a flat area of land for the buildings and dressing floors.
