Turton and Entwistle ReservoirA scenic reservoir partially surrounded by pine woods that give a look of somewhere much further north. Fox Hill PlantationA plantation of coniferous trees on the north shore of Turton and Entwistle Reservoir. Yarnsdale DelfA huge quarry face around the Cadshaw Brook at Yarnsdale just beside the footpath. Brownfields QuarryA small 18th Century quarry above Yarnsdale, now overgrown and a good spot for nature. The NazeThe Naze rises to a plateau above Whittlestone Head and Wayoh Reservoir and is noticeably modified by industry. A large disused quarry and even larger looking spoil create the outline of the hill most often seen.
