Brampton Wood

Knapdale Forest

Knapdale Forest is located 7 miles to the west of Lochgilphead, in the Heart of Argyll. Situated in a National Scenic Area, it is flanked to the north by the Crinan Canal and to the west by the Sound of Jura and Loch Sween.

Jepsons Clough

Jepson’s Clough is a small woodland area with the River Douglas still as a small stream passing through. The rocky clough from which the area gets its name is scenic and leads on to a small waterfall with interesting geological features.

Trentabank Reservoir

Trentabank Reservoir Nature Reserve is managed by Cheshire Wildlife Trust and United Utilities also with three other local reservoirs along the River Bollin.
