Woolston Eyes

The Woolston Eyes Nature Reserve is situated to the east of Warrington between the River Mersey and the Manchester Ship Canal near Latchford Locks and the Thelwall Viaduct which carries the M6 Motorway over both the River and the Canal.

West Pennine Moors

Warton Crag S.S.S.I

Warton Crag S.S.S.I has woodland and very small amounts of calcareous grassland and semi-open pavement. Non designated parts are the bracken/neutral grassland and wooded pavement.

Dartmoor

A national park home to the Dartmoor Ponies, moorland nature reserves and several areas of SSSI.
