Ingleborough Cave

Ingleborough Cave is in The Yorkshire Dales National Park in England.

An excellent limestone cave system to visit as part of a guided tour - no climbing or caving experience needed. Ingleborough Cave features underground streams and pools with some limestone/calcite formations including some small stalactites and stalagmites. Nearest road/parking is about 1 mile away and the cave is accessed via a managed trail with good waterfalls and wildlife. Ingleborough Cave can be closed in very wet weather - phone ahead to check accessibility and tour times.

Ingleborough cave guided tour is one of the finest, the guide is very informative with a great sense of humour. Great fun for all ages while maintaing safety throughout.

Very accomodating to photographers with much freedom for visitors to look around in general.

Ingleborough Cave is part of the massive Gaping Gill cave system.

Highly recommended and well worth a visit, if you only go to one tourist cave in the area - make sure it is Ingleborough Cave.
